Development Status of Industrial Automation Control

Industrial automation includes industrial automation system, hardware and software. It is a comprehensive technology that uses instruments, control theory and computer technology to complete the established operation according to the requirements of industrial production, so as to increase output, reduce consumption and improve quality.

DCS integrates a variety of technologies, including modern communication technology, control technology, display technology and computer technology.

Driven by the new technology, the computer control system has experienced several important stages: base pneumatic instrument control system, electric unit combined analog instrument control system, centralized digital control system and distributed control system (DCS). Now it is expanding and extending in the direction of fieldbus control system (FCS).
